The company's greatest asset is its staff, which operate as a network of supportive teams throughout the UK and is managed by the following key people:

• Paul Usher - Managing Director.   Paul joined PFA in March 1998 initially as an Electrical Design Engineer involved in all aspects of site acquisition and design before becoming Design Team Coordinator in May 2000 and Operations Director responsible for all PFA operations in December 2001. In 2008 he set up PFA’s energy performance and surveying activities and in July 2009 took over responsibility for the Civils Division. Paul was promoted to Managing Director on 1st October 2009. He is an Incorporated Engineer, a member of the Institute of Engineering Technology and a Member of the Institute of Directors
• Chris Rodger - Financial Controller. Chris joined PFA in November 2004 as Financial Controller. He is responsible for management and financial accounting information, financial control, payroll and tax affairs. He is also the Company Secretary. Chris is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants
• Alex Maitland – Design & Construction Director.  Alex joined PFA in May 2007 as Director of Design and Construction with responsibility throughout the UK. He joined the company from Mono Consultants with an enviable reputation for quality in acquisition, design and construction of telecommunications sites for Vodafone, Airwave, O2 and 3. Alex has expanded the Company’s expertise to cover wind power generation and outdoor media and he is now responsible for all professional service activity for PFA. Alex is an honours graduate in Civil Engineering, a Chartered Engineer and a Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers .   
• Kevin Thompson - Director of Property Services. Kevin joined PFA in February 2002 and has gained a reputation for customer focused acquisition management, specifically with Orange and Vodafone. In October 2004, Kevin became regional manager for North of England and Team Leader on the Vodafone acquisition. He is now responsible for all acquisition activity at PFA. Kevin is a qualified Electronics Engineer
• Paula Suttie - Administration Manager. Paula joined PFA in August 2001 supporting the design and acquisition teams and in June 2007 became HR Manager. More recently Paula has led a project to introduce Lean Management techniques into the business and is now responsible for all administration. Paula is an honours graduate in Computer Science and Business Studies and a Member of the Cartered Instititute of Personnel Development.

 

The Management Team is supported by the company's non-Executive Directors, John Morrish (Chairman) and Senga Farfan. John has over twenty years' senior management experience in the UK telecommunications industry; Senga is one of the Company's co-founders, with over ten years' experience in the UK consulting industry.
