About us - People

The company's greatest asset is its staff, which operate as a network of supportive teams throughout the UK and is managed by the following key people:

• Roy Amner - Managing Director.  Roy joined the company in the late 1990s, bringing with him a wealth of experience in managing the design and construction of telecoms networks. Today Roy is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company, as well as spearheading Business Development.
• Paul Usher - Operations Director.   Paul joined about the same time as Roy, with a background in Building Services Engineering. He has managed both our Scotland/Ireland and Southern regions and his current role is to oversee contract implementation, and to ensure that constant service and quality deliveries are achieved across the regional offices and teams.
• Chris Rodger - Financial Controller.   Chris, a chartered accountant joined us in 2004 and is responsible for the company's financial systems and procedures.Chris also acts as our Company Secretary, taking on this role from Paul Usher in May 2008.
• Alex Maitland – Design & Construction Director.  Alex is a Chartered Civil Engineer and has worked on O₂, Airwave, Vodafone and T-Mobile projects in the past. He has over ten years working experience in the telecoms sector.   
• Colin Englefield – Business Development Director. Colin joined us in 2007 and comes with many years experience in the wireless industry.  Colin’s role is to identify new opportunities and markets for PFA.
• Kevin Thompson - Director of Property Services. Kevin joined the company in 2002 and has experience working with all of our major customers. Although focusing on Acquisition Kevin has experience of all
  aspects of our work. Kevin is based in our Manchester office but oversees all of our acquisition work. Before joining PFA Kevin spent 23 years in the Royal Navy working with communication systems.

 

The Management Team is supported by the company's non-Executive Directors, John Morrish (Chairman) and Senga Farfan. John has over twenty years' senior management experience in the UK telecommunications industry; Senga is one of the Company's co-founders, with over ten years' experience in the UK consulting industry.
